Then there were the interfering politicians trying to fight a guerilla war from their cozy Senate Chambers by prescribing how you should fight, who you could shoot, and when and where you could bomb known enemy positions. Like pawns in an insidious game of chess, these boys were mere pieces. And everyone who humped the bush in Vietnam lost pieces of themselves. Some just lost bigger ones.
