“Disney's Jungle Cruise” or “Jungle Cruise” is a fun romp.

Much of the story is based on Disney's Jungle Cruise; this includes several inside jokes and puns. Eventually, it expands to an Indiana Jones or Laura Croft knockoff. You can tell everyone had fun making this movie. The movie is contrived and patched together with many of today’s politically correct motifs that distract from the story and ambiance. “Everything you see wants to kill you and can.” It is 1916. The adventure begins when Dr. Lily Houghton (Emily Blunt) goes on a hunt for a unique item that is naturally in a forbidden part of the jungle. She has to team up with the gregarious riverboat captain, Frank Wolff (Dwayne Johnson), who has a few secrets of his own. Naturally, they are pursued by the bad guys who are after the same item. This is where the fun begins.
