Originally, this poetry collection was written as a small taster soon after Shadow Exotica was published in 2008. Following publication, the poet faced a series of personal and health circumstances out of his control. Over the late months of 2019, the poet began to write poems not too dissimilar to the original sessions for this publication. These poems reflect the beauty in the world, sometimes other worldly, and have been incorporated into this collection. The last part of this collection are poems written in London, England, during the Into the Forest period but were never released. The verses needed to sit in the oak keg. Revamped, these are now part of this collection, which has grown to be ninety-five poems.
