Juicy John: A Tale by Grandpa Squirrel

This is a nice story that offers a moral to children who have ever been bullied or perhaps don't fit in with the rest as they are expected to do so. Juicy John is a smaller optimistic apple amongst bigger mean apples who tease him constantly. Grandpa Squirrel, the teller of the tale, helps Juicy John out when he falls from the tree, discarded and unwanted by those who come to visit the farmers beautiful apple tree. Juicy John gives up, thinking he is unwanted and will just be eaten by the ants, however, Grandpa Squirrel reassures him he has a greater purpose. This story shows children that with the help of friends, one can find their place, just as it will show them that we should never give up, no matter what difficulties we face.
