Great "fan book."

Excellent, if you consider it a book for fans of the sport, rather than an instructional. Great photographs!

Good book but a little expensive

This book breaks down various competiton judo moves by using the authors vast array of photos from many top events. The text does not always follow the action clsoe enough to be used a step by step guide to the techniques of the top competitors. The text is best used a a rough guide to the more spectacular judo techniques with some good hints for competitors.
