This book describes the history and importance of Ju No Kata--the science of what it takes to execute throws--to the study and practice of judo. It also serves as a semi autobiography of the author,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I bought this book more for the short biography of the writer than the techniques. The last 25-30 pages is about Keiko Fukuda, the first highest ranking woman under Kano and the Kodokan. Being honest, the pictures are a little small and blury compared to some , in my opinion, better texts on Kata like Kano's Kodokan Throwing Techniques. Its a good book, It does a good job of describing each technique, better than some others I have read.
