This is a Fantasy Middle Grade. The beginning of this book took me awhile to get into, but once I got in I was completely into the storyline. I loved seeing the main character (a young girl) learn to write, and she also learned so much more. I loved the writing assignments in this book, and the writing assignments made me think back to being in school. I loved seeing the writing assignments come to life. This was a fun book to read. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
