A life of curiousness transformed into print

Having read snippets of Susan's writing in The New Yorker for many years and being moved by The Library Book and On Animals, I was very happy to have gotten a chance to read this book before I bought it. The writing style is easy and characteristic of her New Yorker articles as she shares her life of highs, lows, special articles, and personal feelings throughout her career and more. Her musings took me to places I've never been as well as shared enjoyment of things past and present. I read it in two absorbing days. I requested and received a temporary uncorrected digital galley from Avid Reader Press / Simon & Schuster via NetGalley.
