If the Bible is God's love letters, then Christmas must be the first date. Perhaps that is what makes it so exciting. And although some Christians may be reluctant to celebrate it, the Bible stresses the importance of commemorating what God has done for His people. The first Christmas was the physical manifestation of His love for humanity, and we should celebrate it. Thus, after having spoken in the past many times and in many ways to the fathers through the prophets, our Heavenly Father was now ready to speak through the Son, Jesus Christ. The fathers were the elders of the people of Israel, to whom God gave instructions in how to live as a holy nation. But those instructions were only the beginning of His plan to reconcile the whole human race to Himself.....
