In 1986 until 1989 a killer or killers stalked the lovers lanes of Southeast Virginia, primarily on a stretch of road known as the Colonial Parkway. The 23 mile stretch of road connects the historic towns of Jamestown and Yorktown and snakes through Virginia's colonial capital of Williamsburg. The murderer is believed to have killed eight young victims before disappearing. The FBI was never able to identify or catch the murders. The case became cold but remains open. The Colonial Parkway Murders as they have come to be known remain unsolved 30 years later.
