puts into words what we sometimes can't!

This book really touched me to the point that I felt so much emotion in response to the amazing truth of Christ and the reality of His presence with us. It is very personal and Spurgeon has a way of wording things to where it nails exactly what you would want to say when describing a genuine encounter of intimacy with our amazing Lord. Read it!

wonderful truth

I have not read a great amount of Spurgeon's works, but what I have read always surprises and amazes me as to the man's grasp of scripture and his obvious love for Christ and for people. I found this little book to have been very helpful and was left wanting to go back and reread it. I would recommend it to any Christian, or to any nonChristian who thinks they may have missed something and wants an idea of what joy might be waiting for them.
