Excellent Sci-fi

Really wish this author would write more chapter books; he's good at it. Read this back in middle school and I still love it years later. The story revolves around a preteen boy whose family is plucked from Earth and relocated to an alien reservation - and he's not happy about it. He partners up with two more kids he meets there and together they set out to find a way back to earth. Book does a great job with making the various aliens sufficiently 'alien' too. One of my favorite books from childhood.

Fast paced, very creative Science Fiction for preteens

I have always had a hard time finding books for boys between the ages of 8 - 12 years of age. Journey to Terezor is a winner! This creative Science Fiction book is hard to put down. Frank Asch really knows how to reach children of many different age groups. His sense of adventure is always exciting. I sure wish he would write more for the preteen group. Pearl's Promise is another must read for children.
