An Outstanding Book that Everyone Should Read!

Based on the Old Testament Book of Ruth, the author does an outstanding job in making this enthralling story come alive. Her unique and interesting style of writing also brings out many practical and relevant lessons for us all to benefit from. Each of the thirteen chapters concludes with study questions and personal reflections.This book will be a blessing to you. It certainly was for me!

Fascinating!

This book is a fascinating look at the Biblical book of Ruth. It tells the poignant story of Naomi and her daughter-in-law, Ruth, two widows who make the long journey from Moab to Bethlehem, where they will eventually find love and happiness once again. The author makes the story come alive and will make you feel that you are there. The book also has many practical application lessons that we can learn from this beautiful love story. Study questions at the end of each chapter make it an excellent choice for a group or personal study. I would recommend this book to anyone who desires a better understanding of God's Word.

A very insightful book!

"Journey To Joy" is a wonderful study of Ruth, from the Old Testament. Sometimes, we think of Biblical characters as people with whom we couldn't have much in common; after all, they lived a LONG time ago. But the writer of "Journey To Joy" reminds us that Ruth's story can still teach us a lot about how to deal with our 21st century problems. In reflecting on Ruth's story, Tami Brown reveals how the Bible instructs us to deal with the challenges we all face each day; challenges that we deal with at work, at home, with friends and with foes. She paints a very clear picture of Ruth and her family's journey from fear, anger and depression, to hope, joy, and gratitude. In reading this book, we learn that OUR lives can benefit from knowing about Ruth's journey. You'll enjoy this book a lot!
