Journey to Elende is a true story about an unplanned visit I made to a riverine community in the southern part of Nigeria called Elende.
The story revolved around my privileged encounter with a beautiful river goddess named Eruchi, who have lived among the people of Elende for centuries.
The months I spent in Elende, living in the same compound with Eruchi, were very eventful and memorable, I was exposed to some sacred cultures and traditions of this unique community, that are guided religiously by the people of Elende, as well as mysteries and supernatural occurrences which I'm grateful to be alive to tell the story.
