Sometimes you need to travel through the darkness to truly find yourself.

In 2021 I embarked on a journey of self-discovery in a quest to heal my bruised heart. In the process, I became a different person, open to the beauty of the world and all that it has. Ultimately, poetry has been a vehicle for some intense self-discovery of late and it has truly helped me to see things within myself that otherwise would not have been apparent.

This collection follows my journey from the depths of despair and darkness through to daylight as I have sought to understand who I really am and where I belong in the world.
