Journey and the Lost E-Naw: A Story about Courage and Comfort

By April Kennedy

Journey & Friends: The Lost E-naw is a warm, reassuring picture book about a little girl, her favorite comfort object, and the courage she discovers when it goes missing. Journey loves E-naw, a bundle of knotted cloth that has become her constant companion and secret keeper. When E-naw suddenly cannot be found, Journey feels afraid and unsteady. With the help of three faithful friends-- the gentle Lamb, the wise Donkey, and the courageous Lion-- she learns to search, to try again, and to trust that real strength comes from her heart and from the love that surrounds her. Designed for pre-K through early elementary, this read-aloud story gently supports children who struggle with separation, transitions, or the loss of a comfort item, while offering a hopeful faith-centered perspective for families.
