Journey & Freedom: A New Home

By Jim Klich

Freedom can't wait for her new adventure.

Journey isn't so sure.

When two tiny furless kitten sisters leave everything they've ever known behind, they begin a journey to a new home filled with surprises. While brave and curious Freedom eagerly explores every corner of the house, her shy sister Journey worries about all the big changes around her.

Waiting to welcome them are their loving new Mom and four energetic Chihuahua siblings, Bean, Ela, Mini, and Bo, who are determined to show the little kittens that family isn't just about where you come from. It's about the people and pets who love you, protect you, and make you feel like you belong.

Filled with warmth, friendship, and gentle reassurance, Journey & Freedom: A New Home is a heartwarming story about overcoming fear, embracing change, and discovering that the best families are built with love. Young readers will fall in love with these unforgettable sisters as they learn that change can lead to wonderful new beginnings, and that everyone deserves to be loved and to have the security of knowing they truly belong.

A perfect read-aloud for families, animal lovers, and children learning that home is where love lives.

The first heartwarming adventure in the Journey & Freedom series, celebrating family, courage, and the love that helps us feel at home.
