Journaling Through the Old Testament

Fast food, fast cars, faster internet...we live life in fast forward mode. It seems we are always working toward what's next. Sometimes we get so lost in motion, we forget the here and now. Take a breather. We need to just give ten minutes to start our day, hear from God, and refresh our minds. Reflect on what the Lord is speaking to us through His living Word, jot down our thoughts, and we will feel refreshed and refueled to complete our fast-paced journey. History has value. As a teenager in school, history was not always my favorite subject. As an adult, I see the importance past lessons have on my present and future. Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). The Old Testament has encouraged me in my daily life, and I pray as you read and journal, you will be encouraged, too.
