This is a WONDERFUL look at how to make beautiful Journal pages!

This adorable book starts with a list of supplies that you might want to try. There is no pressure sales and no name dropping. Just lists colored pencils, watercolors, markers, etc. I find her preplanning very interesting. She plans her page on either grid paper or on tracing paper to preserve the paper in her sketchbook from multiple erasures. Then she inks her design and adds color. She show several of her pages from planning to completion. I really enjoyed the book and feel like I learned a lot! I'm going to try using tracing paper over the grid paper to help me to keep my designs straight. It discusses drawing people, hands, trees, and birds. I highly recommend it !
