PDB: After the enlightening interview with Josh and Troy that brought you Josh Anvil and the Cypress Door, Pipe Dream Books returns with these two adventurous teens to talk about the next story, Josh Anvil and the Pivotal Weapon. And like before, right now I don't know where I am.
Josh: On my space ship.
PDB: You have a space ship?
Josh: Yep. And you can call me Captain Josh like the rest of my crew.
PDB: You have a crew?
Troy: Sort of. But he's not my captain. I do have other names for him, however, if you want to hear them.
Josh clears his throat.
Josh: I don't think that will be necessary. Let's get back to the story, okay?
PDB: I agree. So, we are on a spaceship. I can see images of swamp land below. What is that about?
Josh: This ship has cameras all over, and shows what's in front of us, what's below, and what's above.
PDB: So where are we?
Troy: Leiasam. It's pronounced Lee-uh-sum for your readers.
PDB: Never heard of it.
Josh: Not surprising, since it's the name of another planet.
PDB: We're on another world?
Troy looks at Josh.
Troy: Yeah, he's a bright one.
Josh folds his arms.
Josh: Hey, you were a little surprised at first, remember?
Troy: Not that much.
Josh: I'd say a lot.
PDB: Okay, guys. Let's get back to the story. What is happening right now?
Josh: Right now, now? We are looking for a portal. Down there.
I look at the swampland below. It's filled with a number of colored lights.
PDB: A portal that goes where?
Josh and Troy look at each other.
Troy: We can't tell you.
PDB: What? Why not?
Josh: Probably because he thinks you'll tell the aliens.
PDB: What? Aliens?
Josh: Yeah, so they're keeping this weapon hidden so no one can find it and turn it against them.
PDB: The aliens.
Troy: Yep.
PDB: A weapon against the aliens.
Troy looks concerned at Josh.
Troy: Is this really the same guy from the first interview?
Josh shrugs.
Josh: I think so. Hey, I'm getting hungry. You guys want some food made from our replicator?
My stomach growls.
PDB: A replicator? Like from Star Trek?
Troy blows air out of his cheeks.
Troy: Slow. So slow.

As I munch on food that tastes suspiciously like Taco Bell, I decide the interview is over. I am just too hungry to continue. Until the next time, this is Pipe Dream Books signing off.
