Interesting, historical, fast-paced reading.

It's a great book...one of those that you can't put down. "Jose Gaspar" is the fictional account of what may have actually happened to the legendary buccaneer. I liked it because it has all the elements...excitement, romance, courage and drama. A super book to warm up to on a rainy day.

This historical adventure story captures a bygone time.

As a Florida resident, I found it intriguing to read about a character from the early days of the peninsula, before it became a part of the United States. The book brings to light the rough and murderous ways of the pirates that once plied the waters of the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. The tale is told in an entertaining way which keeps one's attention from start to finish.

Jose Gaspar is one of the best books I've ever read.

Jose Gaspar is filled with excitement,intrigue,and a touch of love added for spice. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down.

I really dont know what they mean by review,but I just want to say that I know Hugo personally and he is the nicest guy in the world!!My grandpa and I go golfing with him and he is the greatest golfer,next to me of corse,(hahahaha)and writer in the whole wide world!!!!!!
