English summary: The Book of Jonah clearly stands out from the canonical context of the Minor Prophets: it is the only text that consists exclusively of the prophet's tale, with an interspersed psalm. In contrast to the other books, Jonah's mission and the message he delivers take up only a fraction of the ensemble. Irmtraud Fischer understands the Book of Jonah not as a satire in which a disobedient prophet is taught a lesson by a merciful God, but as "trauma literature." The interpretation of the narrative as an attempt to come to terms with a collective trauma and the postcolonial approach of understanding biblical texts from the point of view of the conquered and oppressed result a completely new interpretation of the Book of Jonah.
