Joint Values the Foundation for the Future
The United States Department of Defense (DoD) is involved in multiple military and humanitarian operations around the world. The DoD has become the nation's on-call 911 support institution. In addition, the DoD finds itself involved in operations and endeavors which are not always covered by doctrine or operation plans. The reason the DoD is called upon by the nation's leaders due to their highly skilled, motivated, trained and equipped forces to handle a multiple range of operations around the globe. It is important the DoD forces work together in a joint environment with a common set of values, a common set of values which hold the military force members to a standard of conduct and behavior above those of the common man.
