John The Pink Pig

How unlike John the pink pig, always early to work and church. Never a squeal about long hours or poor quality chow. Always the company pig. Now sitting on his curb: crying, late and upset. Growing later every moment. He could see the promotion that he had been promised going out the barn door. Bigger car and house were likely out of the question now. Not to mention that Bessy, the cute little barmaid pig; she didn't even want to talk to someone driving an antic vehicle like the old caddy. He is still sitting down next to the curb when he hears a loud roar coming up the street, as a hotrod approached. Looking up he saw with dismay that it was Dick the wolf, driving his black convertible Mercedes Benz. Burying his head back into his hands, he just started up another loud wail (the loudest so far). "AHHHHHHHHHH, AHHHHHHHHHH" went John the Pink pig. Dick the wolf parked behind the caddy and and walked up to him. "Hey what's up little piggie? Why the heck are your catawailing like a newborn pig that's lost its moma" says Dick with a grin. He could see that this was a situation that could get very interesting. John looked up to the wolf. He could see his smile and knew something was up. Dick was always trying to make a buck off the pigs.
