I was there at the beginning. Not the beginning beginning, of

course-I am but a man. But I was there when everything

changed, when the light broke through the darkness and the

world would never be the same.

I am John. A fisherman once, now a witness. I have seen Him.

Walked with Him. Heard Him speak words that turned the

world upside down. And I have held onto these memories,

these moments, so that you might know Him too. Not just as a

figure from history or a prophet among many, but as the Word.

The Word.

In the beginning, it was the Word that spoke creation into

existence. The Word that brought order to chaos. And that

same Word became flesh and walked among us. I have seen His

glory, the glory of the one and only Son, full of grace and truth.
