Book in great condition, service prompt! Faultless interaction, I'm very pleased to give a positive review. American excellence, as I remember it, but seldom encounter. BRAVO! I ordered the book, to use as a research tool for a short story I was writing. Enough information, without being a burden. The framework of true facts,to which I then provided a fictional dialog, between Mr. Gutenberg and an uncle, concerning a cash loan, to finish his invention. To me, the printing press has personal meaning, it gave the writer a much larger outlet for his thoughts, and the spreading of ideas over a much larger audience. It hurried- up the development of the world, like no invention previous. Second only to the wheel, from an overview.
Great Pictures, lots of text.

I sometimes use picture books in my 7th grade World History Class. The story in this book is not that interesting, i tend to embelish as i read. However, the pictures are great and use a document camera so the kids can see.
