We can learn from buffalo--to face our challenges and tread-on. From the Geese rhyme: Have you heard this phrase--what's good for a goose is good for the gander? It's about fairness, that whatever is good for one should be good for another The book has two interactive features. At the end of each rhyme there's a word-quiz to help readers learn to spell a key word about the animal. And, at the end of the book there's a quiz to help readers will learn which animals belong to a troop, parade, tower, gang, family, dazzle or gaggle; and which young animals are known as kids, goslings, pups, calves, foals, or joeys. Our book explains that some animals like dinosaurs have gone extinct and introduces us to an animal that is presently endangered. The final lines of this rhyme are as follows: Pangolins are hunted for their scales that cover them from head to feet. Let's do all we can to save pangolins from going extinct. Note from author: As I was looking for an illustrator, I came across Mariia from Ukraine on-line. Soon after we started our collaboration, Russia invaded Ukraine. I received a day by day description of the devastation occurring around Mariia and her family. When I asked if she needed help, she responded that she and her family and friends were getting by but there was a need for medicines, baby items, hygiene materials, etc. for the shelters that had been set up along the evacuation routes. What started as a collaboration in producing this book has turned into a humanitarian aid program. Proceeds from this book will go toward sustaining this effort. We hope you enjoy our book. Max
