Joey and the magic stones

Joey, a bright nine-year-old boy, is given the chance to travel to anywhere in the world in an instant using a magic black stone. After a few ill-thought-out trips, he starts to seriously think about where he would like to go and what he wants to see. Eventually, the magic in the stone takes him to a cave on a mountain top where he befriends the last fire-breathing dragon, by the name of Artexerxcies.
With the dragons' help, he goes on other adventures, but also puts himself in great danger from an organisation determined to get the magic stones for themselves, all of this whilst trying desperately to get home before his mother knows he is missing.
