The first book, "Carla will nach Deutschland" was written for A1 students who are learning German from scratch. The remaining two books of the series (B1 - Ein unvergesslicher Urlaub + B2 - Umzug nach Berlin) are suitable for intermediate students (B1/B2). You'll meet the same characters in all four books but each book can be read independently.
