After two decades of dedication and countless late nights spent trying to recreate the fantastic meals enjoyed in kitchens and restaurants across the USA and beyond, a journey that began with a simple love for delicious, ethnic meals, my cookbook is finally ready to share. The idea for this cookbook originated in a quaint kitchen where my great-grandmother from Poland once cooked, using a wooden spoon like a magic wand to turn ordinary ingredients into extraordinary meals on a black, pot-bellied stove on Bushwick Avenue in Brooklyn. There, amidst the aromatic blend of simple herbs and fresh ingredients from local markets and street vendors, I fell in love with cooking at the age of five.
Over the years, I found myself jotting down notes, sketching ideas, and capturing the essence of dishes that spoke to the spectrum of human experiences-from joyous gatherings to the solitude of a quiet evening.
