Masterful subtlety.

John Duckworth is one of those rare writers who can be both hilarious and serious at once. His delicate touch with the parables he's created brings you to laughter while driving home some simple, but deep lessons on Christian life. Or sometimes they're just funny parodies. This is one of my all-time favorite books and I wish it were easily available. I'm always telling people about it.

Small book, Big stuff!

A wonderful collection of his own parables, Duckworth writes humorously but poignantly causing the reader to think deeply about their own convictions and actions. Great resourse for school age children and teenagers. Duckworth hits home about how complacent Christians have become. A definite challenge to one's faith!
