JJ Watt Biography Justin James Watt, known to the world as JJ Watt, was born on March 22, 1989, in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He was the first of three boys born to John and Connie Watt, who would prove to be tremendously influential in shaping his work ethic and character. John worked as a firefighter for nearly 30 years, while Connie served as the vice president of a building operations company. From the very beginning, JJ was immersed in a household that valued hard work, discipline, and service to others. Growing up with two younger brothers--Derek and T.J.--meant that competitive spirit was alive and well in the Watt household. What began as backyard competitions would eventually lead to all three brothers playing in the NFL, an extraordinary accomplishment for a single family. Those early sibling rivalries fostered the competitive edge that would later define JJ's approach to athletics and life. The Watt family was close-knit, with John and Connie instilling strong values in their sons. They emphasized the importance of commitment, perseverance, and humility--traits that would become hallmarks of JJ's personality both on and off the field. John often worked 24-hour shifts at the fire station, demonstrating to his sons what it meant to sacrifice for your family and community. Grab your copy!!!
