"Jesus Who?"
This title comes from a question my father asked me years ago: Which Jesus are we talking about? The Jesus of Islam? The Jesus from the Anglican church? The Jesus of the Baptists? Or maybe the Jesus we imagine?
In this book, I share my thoughts on who Jesus was and is. It's a brief introduction to the greatest man who ever lived: Jesus Christ. Who was he? Why does he matter? How does he relate to each of us?
We hear the name Jesus Christ a lot, especially around Christmas. But who was this man, and why should we care? When Jesus was born, his name itself meant "one who saves," reflecting his purpose. From his miraculous conception to his extraordinary birth, every aspect of Jesus's life was centered on saving those who follow him. Almost everyone has an opinion about him. Jesus came to confirm God's promises, show us God as a loving Father, invite us into his family, and represent us before God. He also showed us how to live a full and holy life.
Jesus wasn't just a man with special powers or a half-God, half-man figure. As we'll explore together in this book, he was much more than that.
