Jesus' Secret = Life-Changing

Loved this brave, practical, eye-opening book! As a mom of 3 young kids, I don't have time for fluff. "Jesus' Secret" is the opposite...streamlined, focused, it heads straight to Life's ultimate question on personal fulfillment. It reads like a step-by-step, easy to follow manual. Every main point is summarized, reviewed, and put into action-step form, making it easy to insert the valuable "secrets" into everyday life. Throughout the book, the author's fresh insights challenge stale views on the purpose of prayer. His truths clear the fog on how to hear from God. Great book for pushing the "reset button" on defining what you want in life, or on developing a focused personal time with God. Besides all this, it is enjoyable, with some well-placed humor! Definitely a life-changing read.

Jesus' Secret - An AWESOME and POWERFUL book!

I was so enjoyed Doug Heisel's book! It's the Christian answer to the popular "new age" book, The Secret. It gives the Christian prospective on how to get what we need and want through focused prayer. I love the way Pastor Doug simplifies the process of coming our our Father and Creator with our praise, worship and petitions. The writing style is very easy and casual. I can remember my English teachers telling me to write like you speak. Not that easy! Surely, Pastor Heisel has that covered. The book flows very well and is easy to read and understand. The Pastor is a really good communicator! I've bought copies for my Pastor, here in Hawaii, and also for my church's prayer ministry leader. I truly hope that they take the time to read this book. I can say that learning Jesus' Secret has enriched my prayer life. My prayer now is that everyone could be so blessed!

Jesus' Secret

This book is an insightful and inspired alternative to the widely read and followed "The Secret" philosphy. It is a must read for anyone who has read the book or seen the DVD of "The Secret", tried putting it's teachings into practice, but over time found the results either fleeting or lacking. This book affrims there really is a secret out there that brings peace and joy ( and yes even material needs) and that the answer is clearer and closer than you think. Patrick Nunan

Incredible Book

This is an incredible book. Each night I took a chapter because I wanted to absorb the wonderful message that was given here. Each chapter is a treasure. The thought that Jesus has a plan for my life was a completely new concept to me and the revelation of a great "secret". It is easy to read yet gives you a lot to ponder. You will want to purchase extra copies to share with others.

Wow!

This was such a simple yet profound book to read. His pointed, thought provoking question on page 25 sums it up! Whitout a doubt, I know my answer. This book helped me realize that I don't have to try and 'attract it', I only have to listen to Him and I will accomplish it. As Doug points out, one simple gesture of just lifitng my arms "UP", was enough to make me see that it's not difficult to worship Him, or ask Him to be part of my life. It's definately a must read; I encourage you to get it and see for yourself.
