When I think about this visual of Jesus being like a warm blanket, I am reminded of my son when he was a baby, a toddler, and even a young child wrapped in his yellow baby blanket. I am reminded of his little fingers rubbing the silk edging on his face and lips, snuggling deep in the softness of his blanket. Jesus, this is how we feel when we are wrapped in your presence, your love, your grace, your peace, and your mercy. We have the warmth of your presence filling us with your abundant love.
