Love this sweet woman and her fun series!

I've been both a fan and a friend to this wonderful lady for about 5 years now and I'd like to urge any young person who is in search of the perfect story to read to read all four books that make up this "Must Read" series. The characters are real and the plot will keep you eagerly turning the pages as fast as you can. I love Jeannie and all of her fun adventures! You will love Jeannie too! Order your set today. You'll be glad you did! (Highly Recommended!)

Historical facts and adventure,

Historical facts and exciting adventure make Ms. Horan's "Jeannie:A Texas Frontier Girl (Book Three) "A Must Read KIDZ Series." The characters read true to life, the action is nonstop, and the plot had me eagerly reading along. A very appealing combination!(...)

ChildrenAndLiterature.com Gives Thumbs Up To Jeannie

What was West Texas like in the 1880's? If you want to learn and have a fun adventure in reading, then get a copy of Jeannie, A Texas Frontier Girl. This book will take you on a wonderful journey back to the 1800's with Jeannie and her friends. If you like the Little House books then you will enjoy Jeannie just as much. I highly recommend this book for all schools, libraries, and anyone interested in historical novels.

A perfect give for 'tweeners'!

Finally, a perfect present to buy for those hard to get for 'tweeners'. I read this book before giving it out as a gift. I loved it so much that I went out and bought more to give out to my four nieces. The chapters are short, so if you are one to read a chapter a night to a child, this is great. It is an easy read, nine year olds should have no problem with it. It is refreshing to read a book with a christian family values theme. I like the desriptive scenery and the well written characters. Jeannie is a great role model for girls. She may not always do what is right, but she learns from her mistakes and tries to do better. This is the first book in a series of four. I eagerly await Jeannie's next adventures.

Much Needed Book

I predict that Ms. Horan will be our present-day Laura Ingles Wilder. Our children desperately need to be subjected to more literature of this type and I am so glad to see that an author had the foresight to present work such as this at this time. I applaud her and hope to see much more by her! Excellent book! I highly recommend this one for children and adults alike.
