all five books in the earth children's series

This is to say that the five books of the earth's children series is fantastic. Jean explores and annunciates the splendor of the ice age times. As you read you are drawn to the majesty of the people, the animals, and the landscape. You feel the breeze on your face as they do. The only thing lacking in in the series is the sixth book which i have been waiting for and can not find any information about when it will come out. Also would have been nice to have had a another movie made of the series such as combining valley of the horses and the mammoth hunters together. But thats just my take on it.

Romantically raw nature!

I'm waiting patiently for the next book in the Earth's Children series. I have read all four books numerous times. I love being drawn into the romantically raw nature that Auel so vividly describes. Each page, each book leaves you longing, breathless and on the edge of your seat. Please continue your excellent work Jean! I canhardly wait.

The BEST of the BEST Love Story I have ever read.

Where oh Where is the fifth book in this series about Ayla and Jondalar. I've been left hanging in anticipation and have been waiting for years for Jean Auel's next book. By now I've read the first four about twelve times EACH, they're now very worn around the edges with the pages coming out. I've bought new ones to replace old ones but I'd rather get the new book.

Four books, and I want more!!!!!!!

This is the ongoing fictional saga of a woman who bridged two cultures, the Cro-Magnon and the Neanderthal. Within its storyline, it provides hypothetical explainations for such earth shattering events as, flint/pyrite firestarting, clay kiln firing, soap lye, and the domestication of animals. It provides a well researched study of herbal lore and natural medicine. All of this, melding to encapsulate the reader and propel him 30,000 years into the human races past.
