I read this book 5 times in a row!

My almost 3-year old's face lit up when he saw this book come out of the shipping box today. I read it to him over and over. When I had to go into the kitchen to get him a drink, I caught him going through it himself. He is such a big fan of the show on PBS and I had been hoping to find something to extend that. I was very glad to find the book series. All of the planes from the series are featured. The flaps are on hinges and actually slide up or down rather than lifting the flap, which is a nice alternative. The pages are the very sturdy board book variety and the hinges seem strong as well. The illustrations are pretty good too. Really, the only reason I give this book only 4 stars instead of 5 is that the age range on the book says 2-5 years. It might be a little basic for the higher range of that scale, but the younger set will love it!
