Jasmine Fever

When New York chef Frank Visakay moved to Thailand, he quickly attracted the attention of beautiful Thai women. Or so he thought. In Jasmine Fever, Visakay offers hilarious revelations about his and his friends' relationships with Thai bargirls. As we learn from one of the eponymously named stories, perhaps he is 'looking for love in all the wrong places'.

Jasmine Fever

Anyone considering any kind of Thai relationship needs this book. The well written book was easy to read and understand and very enjoyable. The author must have seen many friends tricked by Jasmine Fever to be so keen in its description. I am buying additional copies for my friends who want to know what Thailand can be like.

Who's the victim?

I liked very much reading "jasmine fever" and I advise it to anyone who don't like reading endless novels. Fast paced, straight to the point, with no unnecessary embellishment, this collection of short stories is fascinating. Thai bargirls are often presented as victims, but after the first chapter you will understand that there is more to dealing with Thai women than to meet the eyes.

A Texbook for Thailand

Would you like some good advice before traveling to Thailand? Would you like to learn the special language the bargirls speak? This book is a textbook on what to expect when venturing into the "land of smiles." The bewitching smiles of the beautiful women mean many things. Jasmine Fever presents the pitfalls and perils in very entertaining and readable stories. It should be required reading for every expat and want-to-be expat going to or living in Thailand.

A Must Read For Thailand Travelers!

If you only buy one book about Thailand it has to be 'Jasmine Fever.' Advice and words of wisdom are dispensed in stylish and discerning stories. No visitor should be without this valuable guide to the customs, conventions and social aspects of this enchanting country. Travelers and expatriates alike will love this book. The invaluable information here will certainly help save your time and money. I never leave home without it.
