The last two months have been dominated by the story of the killing of Jamal Kashoggi in the Saudi Arabia consulate in Isranbul

Various gruesome accounts have circulated incl Jamal Kashoggi being cut up alive, conscious and screaming.

The is of course a terrible death that we should wish on no-one.

But apart from that - what is the problem?

This happens every day - or something like it, and the World leaders - especially the European ones have not said very much.

So why is the death of Jamal Kashoggi suddenly suddenly so important?

We will discuss some of the legal and moral aspects below.
