Ukulele book one of the Jam Along Series is probably one of the few, if not the only, ukulele books out there that provides tablature for how to play the melody for all the songs it covers in addition to learning how to strum the chord progressions to the songs. 13 songs that are perfect for the beginner: Mary Had A Little Lamb, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Hot Cross Buns, Brother John, London Bridge, This Old Man, Row Row Row Your Boat, Baa Baa Blacksheep, Boil The Cabbage (two versions), Cripple Creek, Amazing Grace, Ode To Joy. Exercises, scales, and chord voicings are covered as well. This book is written specifically for "soprano ukulele" or "concert ukulele." If you are not sure what this means I strongly recommend researching ukulele body styles and tunings to better understand what sort of ukulele you have or are interested in having.
