Jade Fish and the Tao
In this final volume in the series "Jade Fish and the Master", Jade Fish discovers how difficult her Tao (or Path) can become. Now aged 19, Jade Fish and her husband have a little baby boy. Her life, however, is thrown into chaos when she suddenly finds herself utterly destitute and almost totally alone.
Wandering with her groom, Pan Fu, she is led towards the Great Mountains where she discovers her Master, Lao Tzu, preparing for death. Before he dies, he gives the girl encouraging advice, but her life is still filled with acute problems.
Returning to the City of Peacocks after an absence of 3 years, Jade Fish faces hard choices. She has also made
a deadly enemy of Queen Tang, the pretty young wife of the Qin dictator, King Zhao Xiang. Jade Fish risks execution
in choosing to follow her Tao. How far will she go to protect her people, her family and those she loves?
