Great Read!

As a writer myself, I am very critical, but this is a WONDERFUL read. Great for kids and adult as wells... funny, adventurous, never a dull moment. I have already found my Christmas gifts for the family!

great fun!

Was looking for a book for my nephew's birthday and bought this because I liked the cover......had a few hours to kill and thought i'd browse through it.....AND ENDING UP READING IT COVER TO COVER. it's delightful. quite a wonderful read.

SIX 11 year-olds couldn't put it down!

My son and 5 of his friends read this book together and every one of them read it almost cover to cover in one sitting. I've never seen such excitement over a book. What makes all the more astonishing is that these kids normally prefer video games to reading. As a mom, I was thrilled that my son had so much fun reading and I'm hoping he'll seek out other books with as much delight. Mr. Frischman, pleeeeeeeeeease write a sequel!

AWSOME BEST BOOK

This is a very funny book! my mom and I read it together and she could not put it down. We both laughed out loud a lot, and the characters were very interesting and alive. My favorite character was Jamie Jenks a boy magician who is always doing something so crazy and funny. I gave my third grade teacher a copy of this book and she is now reading the book to my class. My friends are fighting over who gets to borrow the book. I said to go get one for themselves! This is a great book. Everybody should read it.

So fun!

I loved this book for kids. It was interesting and didn't "talk down" to young ones. Being a teacher that's incredibly important to me. And what kid doesn't like magicians?!? All in all, a great read.
