This book aims to be a great companion for workers made redundant, due to restructures; those who've lost their jobs, or those who are threatened by these. It is the 1st in the series.
It's Jack Lookman making an attempt to explore options open to such demographics, and propounding possible solutions, by converting the possible closed doors, into open opportunities. Though the setting is for redundant workers in the United Kingdom, the thoughts could easily benefit those in other geographical locations. Jack Lookman has experienced redundancy on 2 occasions. On each of them, it was an opportunity to explore his passions and dreams. However, things didn't quite workout, hence his return to paid employment.
However, he continues to live his dream. While earning an income in paid employment, to put bread and butter on the table; he spends his spare time working on his passion and legacy.
Because this is something he enjoys, he gives it his everything. Even while in transit, he sometimes works on his side hustle by leveraging his mobile phone.
Life is short, and no one is guaranteed tomorrow; hence the sense of urgency in doing what could be done, while it could.
The series could benefit potential, new and old redundant workers. It effectively adds value to those redundant workers going through uncertain times. It is hoped that the content could be a great cushion of hope, to propel such workers to greater heights.
We aim to create beneficial content on multiple platforms and in multiple formats.

One of my lessons at the workplace, is that there are no longer permanent jobs; and nothing in life is guaranteed, except the loss of it.
Have a beneficial read.
