Izzy and Dee Adventures: Moon Tree Mission

By Izzy House

Book Overview

When Izzy and Dee plant a tiny tree in their backyard, they never imagine it will launch them on a journey inspired by the Apollo Moon Missions. With a homemade rocket, a mission journal, and big curiosity, the sisters set off to visit Moon Trees grown from seeds that once traveled around the Moon.

From towering redwoods to star-shaped sweetgum leaves, Izzy and Dee explore real Moon Trees planted across the United States. Along the way, they meet friendly guides, discover how trees grow strong roots, learn why recording observations matters, and uncover how caring for nature helps stories last. Each stop blends space exploration, science learning, and environmental stewardship into an adventure young readers can understand and enjoy.

Perfect for families and classrooms, Izzy and Dee Adventures: Moon Tree Mission introduces children to space history, STEM concepts, and the idea that small beginnings can lead to incredible discoveries. This story encourages curiosity, observation, and sharing what we learn with others, while celebrating the connection between Earth, space, and the natural world.
