It's 1964.
Evie Jernig, a Welsh botanist with stationery and a heart broken by royalty at a fountain.

As happenstance would have it, a colleague of Evie's, Dr. Feldane, encourages Evie to attend Oxford for a doctorate that could heal her heart with knowledge overflowing.
