This is a life manual for individuals facing the uniqueness of life during this pandemic. Very few people were prepared for this totally unprecedented world-altering event. It's been 100 years since something of this nature occurred. Those still alive to recount the horrors of the last pandemic are frightened into emotional purgatory while dealing with this one. Clearly times and technology have changed allowing for more effective ways to deal with such an insidious enemy. This book was written to address some of the trending and unsettling concerns we are inadvertently facing due to the nature of the response to this crisis. First we are seeing new terms and definitions used to control and contain the outbreak. We have never practiced Social Distancing or Social Separation. By our very nature we are gregarious beings. To be required to stay 6ft apart for others and not gather in our normal spaces like Church, Work, School or family events, has created turmoil and chaos of a heretofore unseen magnitude. This book was written to give voice to the new and unspoken mores that are shaping and shifting our new normal. It has been developed into two distinct parts. The first half identifies and signifies this emerging epidemic. The second half gives some insight for a return to normalcy. The second half also intimates that being proactive about your mindset is not only a smart thing, it is necessary for your very survival. We have intentionally placed sections at the end of each chapter for journaling, note taking and or questions and concerns. This book is meant to be used to give you solace and help you create some form of balance during these troubling times. If you visit it in future times my prayer is that it is dogeared and worn as you employ it to help you through this defining moment in time!
