Great Book

I couldn't put the book down. I was raised in the Oklahoma red dirt land and it was just like being there. I could feel the hot sun on my face and smell that red dirt as I, too, ran down the roads. Everyone should read this story of a "girl growing up." Norma

Just like being there

Reading this book is just like being on the oil leases in that time period. The fun and sadness makes up a life that the reader wants MORE of. There's a dejavu that works, no matter where the reader comes from. "Toots"
