Dreams do come true Growing up in Manchester, I never would have thought that putting a double page pull out of the race horse Nijinsky on my bedroom wall, would have set off a lifelong love for horses, Thoroughbreds in particular. Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought that I would work for a hugely influential thoroughbred owner and breeder with racehorses in training and stud farms all over the world. I started at a young age, going to a riding school in Cockington, Torquay, Devon, whilst I was on holiday with my aunt. It was all her idea at the time. One she came to deeply regret But my biggest love was and is horse racing. Horses have so much to teach us, if only we would listen. I have learnt something from every single horse I have handled and ridden. Even if at times it was specialist survival skills There is nothing more rewarding than emerging from a stable in one piece, after the inhabitant has tried to kick, bite, crush or shag you 'I'm alive ' you say to yourself, patting yourself on the back. Here are just some of my adventures, and some of the horses and people I have met along the way. I have been lucky enough to have a job that I loved. I truly have had a blast.
