-An Epic Historical Time Travel Adventure that may or may not have happened yet.
At a seaside Cape Cod town in 1968, four young boys from diverse cultures, found each other, mischief and later, a time portal in the forest by the remnants of a cabin belonging to an alleged witch of local legend from the 1700's. Trying out the portal they actually found her and she was frightening yet mesmerizing. They promised her they would never use the portal again after she relayed the horrors she encountered herself experimenting with the portal. However, a smitten Vern made a promise to himself.
As often happens, curiosity killed the cat (in this case maybe literally). Amos, the brains of the group, believed he could pinpoint the exact time of the stories of Wampanoag legend. And he did, but not the time of the "happily ever after" stories. Instead they found themselves face to face with Pukwudgees, the evil homicidal demons that Wampanoag mothers warned their children of to keep them from wandering off. And the Pukwudgees discovered the portal
And no one knew why the town went to hell 1992. Pandora's Box had been opened and the boys formed a bond that would last multiple lifetimes as they attempted to close it before the portal was discovered again by who knows who. Buckle up for a fast paced, edge of your seat thriller that includes, the golf shot of a lifetime, a sunrise fishing charter, Bill Cosby, the former Wharf Tavern in Boston, Rockefeller Center in NYC, a shillelagh and a sling shot, up and coming Southie mobsters, pro football, Samuel Bellamy, and of course, mom, blueberry pie and the girl he left behind. This story is whacked.
A Prospects Evaluation from The Black List - a showcase for Film, TV & Publishing Professionals said, "The story's fast-paced, cinematic style and vivid descriptions make it well-suited for fans of horror novels with psychological depth and supernatural elements. Book Clubs focused on genre fiction, speculative fiction, or folklore-inspired literature would be drawn to its mix of suspense, horror, and mythology. The manuscript has crossover appeal for fans of STRANGER THINGS or THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE. Comp titles include THE OUTSIDER by Stephen King ..."Year after year, Itchiwan, has been racking up awards and is truly a story you won't want to end.
